MICHAEL C. BROWN, ESQ., President/General Counsel
Michael is the President of Master Credit Consultants Inc. / LienMaster, the firm he founded in 1988. He received his B.A. from Case Western Reserve University and his J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law. With a specialty in the areas of creditors’ rights and construction law, Michael has the overall responsibility in the filing of Preliminary Notices, Mechanic’s Liens, and Bond Claims across the country, as well as Collection of those delinquent accounts for MCC clients. He also dispenses legal advice on a regular basis.
KURT SHUTTLER, Collection/Legal Department
Kurt brings with him over 35 years’ experience in Collections and Credit Management. Kurt is a “top” collector in every sense of the word. If there is a way to collect money on an account, Kurt will figure it out. He also provides our clients with consistent and detailed status reports on all claims. If a lawsuit is required to collect the account, Kurt will work closely with co-counsel during the collection/litigation process. Finally, Kurt is adept in all types of research, including skip traces and asset searches.
JAN HOTH, Accounting Manager/Administrative Assistant
Jan is well versed in all office operations for MCC / LienMaster. Her excellent administrative skills are utilized in the production of all Notices, Liens, and Bond Claims. Jan also supervises all financial matters for MCC. If you have a question or need assistance, always feel free to contact Jan.
BONNIE GOLDBERG, Research Department & Admin Assistant
Bonnie is highly skilled in all office procedures. In addition to processing various documents, she also handles the investigation and verification of project information. Bonnie should be your main contact when it comes to the preparation and filing of a Release of Lien.
TARA LIUZZO, Research Department
Tara is highly skilled in all facets of research. She utilizes her skills at MCC / LienMaster to investigate and verify project information, making it possible for creditors to effectively protect their Lien rights.
DEBRA MATOVIC, Office Operations/Bookkeeper/Reception/Admin Assistant
Debra’s vast experience in finance, operations management, and administrative support is put to good use by keeping the company books. Her responsibilities include accounts payable, accounts receivable, coordinating the set-up of new files with clients, and handling other internal matters for MCC.
COREY NEMEC, Research/Technology/Sales/Marketing
Corey’s experience with technology and web-design will contribute to MCC / LienMaster’s operations and efficiency.
ANDREA LEVIN, Administrative Assistant
Andrea has over 9 years of experience assisting top executives in the marketing and public relations fields. She supports Michael, as well as the rest of the MCC staff as needed.
